pigments

aim : To separate the different pigments from ink using chromatography
hypothesis : its gonna change colours
results : the black piece turned into five pigments black,purple,orange,blue and green and the red one turned into three pigments red orange and blue

measuring for athletics

In P.E athletics we needed to do the events (in the table below) it was heaps of fun and it was cool to learn how far we could throw stuff. For example I was surprised I could throw the discus 7.80 meters and that I could throw the shot put 6 meters.

Dissolve experiments

Dissolve experiment 

Aim: to see if salt or baking soda dissolves the most 
Hypothesis: I believe the baking soda will dissolves more as it is much smaller than a grain of salt
Equipment: a 250 mL beaker 100 mL measuring cylinder salt baking soda a stirring rod a teaspoon and a ruler 
Methold: 1. Fill the beaker with 100 mL of tap water
2. Add a level teaspoon of baking soda a level teaspoon is obtained by running a ruler across the edges of the teaspoon
3. Stir the solution until all of the baking soda has dissolved  
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all no more baking soda will dissolve into the solution
5. Record how many teaspoons of baking soda were added
6. Repeat the experiment with table salt

Discusion me and my group started talking about if how fast you stirred would dissolve the chemicals faster and if we spearted the teaspoons more that the baking soda would dissolve faster

athletics training

In P.E athletics today we are gonna learn how to


Throw a discus: we started by rolling the discus back and forth and then we learnt the way that was the most easiest way to throw the discus     




Do a forsbury jump we learnt how to do this jump it was really enjoyable to do you basically jump onto your back with your feet and arms in the air

light bar

In tech we made a light bar which is a wooden bar with a L.E.D strip  that can stick into any USB plug to light up how we made this was by getting different parts of wood and then we glued them together we then put the led strip inside and but a piece of acrilc inside of it and you are good to go

laser tech

in tech we have been using the laser cutter it has been a really fun experience using all the different programs some of them are thingy-verse tinker-cad and laser works
