Aim: To learn about a saturated solution and how to make crystals

borax

Materials

1) one container

2) eight teaspoon of borax

3) half a cup of water

4) three pipe cleaners

5) one peg

Process

Step 1: put half a cup of water in to the container

Step 2: put on teaspoon of borax into a cup

Step 3: stir the stuff in the container till it goes clear

Step 4: put the pipe cleaners into a star shape

Step 5: peg the pipe cleaners and put it into the container 

Step 6: leave it for two days 

Sugar Crystals

Materials

2) half a cup of water

3) one container

4) one pipe cleaner

5) one peg  

Process

Step 1: put half a cup of water into a container

Step 2: put eight teaspoons of sugar in a container

Step 3: stir till it goes clear

Step 4: put pipe cleaner on to a peg

Step 5: put peg into the container

Step 6: leave for two days

Step 3: stir till it goes clear

Step 4: put pipe cleaner on to a peg

Step 5: put peg into the container

Step 6: leave for two days
